In Port Solent
Port Solent (see related links) is conveniently situated at the North end of Portsmouth just off the M27
Ideally suited for chartering (it is also the home of Sunsail yachts) there are numerous bars, restaurants, shops, and even a cinema at the marina.
For provisions there is a Tesco supermarket at the entrance.
Down historic Portsmouth Harbour is Gunwarf Quays, the Spinnaker Tower, the Dockyard and the Solent beyond.
Within the marina there is ample free and secure parking, showering and launderette services.
Where to Sail
There are so many places to visit within easy reach of Port Solent: Across to the Isle of Wight for Cowes and Yarmouth, West to Lymington and Poole, and East to Chichester and Littlehampton.
A week's charter can take you to Cherbourg and the lovely French coast, as well as the Channel Islands.
